International
Women's Day
March 2025
I was invited to bring my cardigan to an International Women's Day performance art event, facilitated by Tammy Woodrow and Evelynn Wenman, at the Blue Orange Theatre in Birmingham. Donations were collected for WAITS Action, a women's charity based in Birmingham.
The event featured performance art by Evelynn and Tammy, and included performances by Kacie Degg-Hogan, Victoria Duffield-Harding, Crow Dillon-Parkin, Natasha Taheem, and Ije. I didn't perform, but people tried on the cardigan and engaged with it, experiencing its weight and texture. My piece, Worn Thin, Woven Strong, became an interactive element, inviting reflection on themes of endurance, resilience, and collective experience.
